Athens Center Square Hotel

This 54-room hotel with avant-garde design is outrageously original. Designed by the group 3SK, Greece's leading hotel architects, the air-conditioned hotel is a bold departure from traditional accommodation. The 3SK Architect Group used a palette of kiwi, blue ocean, strawberry, lemon and mandarin colours for the interior and added the exceptional paintings of Corrina O'Brien. The hotel's name derives from its very central location. The roof top terrace offers a panoramic view of the Acropolis, Lycabetus Hill and Phillopapou. Renovated in 2009, the 54-room city hotel offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, lift access, a breakfast room, WLAN Internet access, and a laundry service (fees apply).

How To Go

From the airport the distance to central Athens is 30 km. The journey to the hotel is very simple by metro or taxi. By taxi the journey is approximately 30 to 45 minutes and it costs about 25 to 30 Euros, with an extra charge during the evening. There is also a direct metro line (the blue line) from the airport to Monastiraki station. When leaving the station (exit Athinas Street), turn left and walk for about 300 m on Athinas Street. Turn left again onto the street after the first traffic lights. This is a pedestrian street with the fruit market. The hotel is only a few metres further along on the left.
